The actress' character – Katniss – gets her wings in the movie's final promotional poster.
Lionsgate has unveiled their final Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 poster, which shows Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss Everdeen in all her glory as the rebellion's Mockingjay – a symbolic figure of freedom for the oppressed Districts as they begin to fight against the Capitol's rule.
The poster comes five days before the release of a new full trailer for the hotly anticipated sequel, which will hit the web on Sept 15.
Lionsgate has been ramping up their promotional campaign in recent weeks with a slew of poster releases, including those set in the grey landscape of District 13 and those featuring the rebel warriors on Katniss' new Mockingjay team. A teaser image of Lawrence's character was also launched last week.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 is slated for release on Nov 21 in the US. — Reuters
