The music app's annual Sounds Of Summer playlist has been released and it looks good.
Music app Shazam has unveiled its predictions for the hit songs of this summer, with British artiste Ed Sheeran's single Sing set to be blaring out of the radio for the next few months.
Based on the national music charts and the most-Shazamed songs of the year so far, the annual "Sounds Of Summer" list is well-known for accurately predicting hits. So here is a sneak peak at the tunes we'll all be dancing to:
1. Ed Sheeran, Sing
With one million Shazams and counting, Sheeran's Pharrell-produced track is set to make the British singer an even bigger success.
2. Ariana Grande featuring Iggy Azalea, Problem
This collaboration featuring one of the hottest rappers of the moment is proving to be huge with Shazam users.
3. Sam Smith, Stay With Me
The guest vocalist for Naughty Boy and Disclosure has been Shazamed over 15 million times to date.
4. Luke Bryan, Play It Again
The undoubted country hit of the year, this single is currently number one in Shazam's Country chart.
5. Nico & Vinz, Am I Wrong
Following huge success in Europe, listeners in the US are starting to really get into this song.
6. Oliver Heldens, Gecko
Oliver Heldens is the latest Euro-house sensation, and the new vocal version of Gecko seems to be taking this underground hit over-ground.
7. Clean Bandit, Rather Be
Shazamed nearly 10 million times, this is the most Shazamed track in the world but could go even bigger with more US radio play.
8. Secondcity, I Wanna Feel
Set to be a number one hit when released on May 25, this dance track has a big summer ahead.
9. Teeflii featuring 2 Chainz, 24 Hours
Produced by the unstoppable DJ Mustard and featuring the always popular 2 Chainz, this track hasn't even released officially but has already been Shazamed 100,000 times.
10. 5 Seconds Of Summer, Don't Stop
This Australian band is tipped for One Direction levels of success this year and the signs indicate this track could help them get there. — AFP Relaxnews
